The Parenti & Raffaelli story is deeply rooted in rich heritage. Getting its start in Italy during the late 1800s, when a young Peter Parenti discovered his passion for woodworking under the watchful care of his father, just as his father before him. Today, in their ever-growing, technologically advanced Chicago facility, the old-world traditions of exquisite craftsmanship are as present as ever. From the meticulous detailing on cabinet doors to the expansive beauty of a gorgeous black walnut ceiling, the generational excellence is forever, proudly on display.

Parenti & Raffaelli also staffs an in-house engineering and drafting department. Our engineers and draftsmen work closely with the project managers, general contractors, architects and designers to ensure the successful execution of the design.

The success of Parenti & Raffaelli’s projects are a direct result of our belief in a strong project management team. Our project managers oversee work with the designers, architects and general contractors. Their experience and specialization in architectural woodworking allows them to provide new insights and innovations on projects. Our project managers guide the work through all phases of the project by closely monitoring the budget, shop drawings, production, delivery, installation and schedule.

At Parenti & Raffaelli, we pride ourselves in the in-shop completion phase. This is where the cutting, machining and final preassembly is accomplished with our union cabinet-makers. Each piece is carefully considered and custom crafted to the highest quality, setting the standard for excellence in the woodworking community. Shipping is the first stage of the installation process. Parenti & Raffaelli takes every precaution to protect its products from damage. We schedule all of our own deliveries through our shipping department with our own trucks and operators and we are able to guarantee on time deliveries.

At the installation phase of the project, we rely on our master Union carpenters in order to produce the best-quality installation experience. Our installation foremen are all master carpenters, and they skillfully attend to every detail of the process. Our foremen work closely with the designers, architects and contractors during the layout and installation phases. The drawings are reviewed and field dimensioned on the jobsite prior to fabrication and shipment in order to avert any problems and ensure smooth coordination with the other trades. Our shipment and installation capabilities extend nationally, delivering the same tradition of quality and expertise anywhere in the country.
